Comment mode on when the workspace opensSelecting anything then opens a comment bubble beside it. The pencil in the top bar switches it at any time.Left menu collapsed to iconsThe menu’s own toggle does the same.

View backgroundsEvery 2D view on the same light background, or each with its own (a dark harness, a white formboard). The 3D view stays dark.

Zooming a viewOver a drawing (harness, formboard, schematic and the other diagrams), the scroll wheel zooms about the pointer and Shift with the wheel scrolls; or zoom only with Ctrl (⌘) and the wheel. Lists and tables always scroll; a pinch always zooms. Takes effect the next time the workspace opens.

Harness drawingA clean line drawing (white bundles with black outlines, outlined connectors and lugs), or the realistic picture. The harness view’s own switch changes it too.

Name labelsOne look for every drawing’s labels (harness, formboard, topology, wire diagram, schematic, 3D): white with a dark edge, dark, or text only. A load’s label carries a tan edge.

Where the harness labels goIn the margins: in columns either side of the drawing, each joined to what it names by a leader line, so nothing on the drawing is covered. Beside each item: as near as it fits, with a leader where it had to move.

Dimming of unrelated elementsWhen something is selected, everything not connected to it fades to this. 35% visible.Chat replies arrive as they come inA new reply reveals line by line, the chat scrolling with it. Off: it appears whole.

Pane layoutsEvery tab remembers how its panes are docked. Reset puts every tab back as it was first set up.
